My work wife told me to watch this movie...wish she didn't..Even with the bad acting, there was just enough interesting moments to keep me watching till the end..the best actor in the movie was caught in a barbed wire fence...5/10
ok - it's campy. I like campy. Bruce Campbell is my hero. This tries for that guilty good feeling from watching good cheese, but doesn't really get there. Could've been so much more fun and imaginative with the theme and the players. Sasha Grey?? .. should've swallowed all the water.
As it was.... eh. Even screwed up an ending that could've gone at least 8 -10 different (and better) ways. Not entirely unwatchable, just make sure you have something else to do at the same time, so it won't feel like a waste
I think the link I watched was the (UK:Version) with an alternate wraparound about two teenagers and an 11-year-old trying to find the most banned movie in the world. I liked it better than (USA:Version); washed-up producer as he pitches insane story lines featuring some of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
Was a slow start a t first but it picked up in the middle. Denzel Washington hasn't disappointed, and seriously, this is by far the most excellent film Ryan Reynolds starred in. Showcased his acting abilities.
