As much as I am sure this film is superb, I just can't bring myself to watching it at this time. I knew Diana personally and was also one of the archivists on the exhibition of her heirlooms during it's premiere visit to the U.S.
I do recommend checking this one out and learning something about this truly remarkable and genuinely kind-hearted human being.
Her story is at the same time inspiring and rather sad...
There are several threads on Forum paying respect to Paul Walker, hardly used - because many people continue to ignore requests to keep comment section clean from 'rip' comments and use it to discuss the film and related subjects. Then when you get reminded, you bomb mod requests with red arrows.
'RIP' comments removed. Use Forum. This is a review/film comment section.
Uhmm to be HONEST...I felt 'strange' after watching this motion picture ending the night before I hit the sack.....and then I also 'kinda' found myself 'a little' grossed out. DON'T GET ME WRONG I LOVE Joseph Gordon-Levitt and I also like the 'lesson' behind it....but then again I'm just being HONEST....:-\ perhaps 8/10
The Screwfly Solution is based upon the 1977 science fiction short story of the same name by Alice Sheldon under the alias Raccoona Sheldon. Director Joe Dante read the story in the 1980s and had wanted to make a film version ever since. He presented the story as straight horror, eschewing his usual humor and without using his usual company of stock actors. This is his second Masters of Horror, the first being Homecoming.
I think this is de worst marvel creation ever, dont get me wrong its a good show but it isnt great. i think marvel comes a bit short in comparesing to the real super hero movies. i expected a little bit more A quality instead of B.
Well made and very well acted, but depressing. I thought there would be hints of a rebellion at the end, but there was just an unsatisfying resignation.
If you've seen The Island with Scarlet Johannsen, this has a similar theme, but this one is grim.
Pelts directed by Dario Argento one of another of his Masters of Horrors, and it based on a short story by F. Paul Wilson. The film is a story about supernaturally beautiful raccoon pelts that cause anyone who seeks to profit by them to commit horrendous acts. Meat Loaf stars as fur trader Jake Feldman.
