Greatest Tv show
I'll try to explain how i experience her, if I get something wrong you can help me out
The way i see it, she's a genius who makes full use of her brains to sovle the complexe puzzles.
The trait of personality is a talent that comes with/from a psykological burden, she get's kind of manic depressive, and she is giving herself completely to her job, like a true artist would. To the greater good and to the art.

Like a musician can be taken over by the music and lost in the play.
Or and actor can be a lost in all the roles he/she plays,
Always a risk when you give yourself completely in to serve something / an art, if you have a personality disorder. She's manio depressive, i think though.
And her illness has also made her a very strong integre person. She can withstand alot without giving in to pressure, but on the dark side, she will follow her instincts /hunches, because it's the connection she has to them that makes her strong.
I checked the comments in hopes I'd find something to tell me if Season 3 is all about Carrie. Because I can not watch Claire Danes' manic portrayal of manic Carrie for an entire season, unbroken by sight or sound of the more involving, more complex central character, Damien Lewis' Brody. It does seem Brody returns. That's good news. Though just how soon we pick up his story (just finished episode 2)could be a critical issue. I could go into Carrie coma, or something, before that happens. And no, this isn't a flash-bang dodging bullets Fox TV production. It's tension is in the interaction of characters compressed by geopolitical concerns and amoral acts into extreme personal behaviours. A human drama in an action setting... Not so much, though, with Brody missing
I love the realism of the characters psychological profiles
Carries' genus comes with a price
I just did a week or so marathon to see what all the fuss is about this series.
I love a good crime/drama cop/criminal type, like "24", but I just don't see what all the hoopla is for. I really wanted to like it. It just didn't hit that spot for what it is suppose to be.
It's an alright series. Nothing to write home about in my opinion.
It does have good drama. Almost 'prophetic' at times writers. I must say the actor(ess') play their characters very well.
I just don't like the 'characters' themselves I guess.
Although extremely intelligent, Carrie seems too far 'out there'. I feel it shows our Military and other Defense branches in an 'unrealistic' at times way. Some of the things done are just not plausible.
I find myself saying to the screen "you've got to be kidding. That would never happen!" once too often.
I'd love to smack little 'Dana' around some.
More details would be spoilers.
Over all, it's a decent series. Realistically set. Semi-believable characters. Watchable. They are just to 'dumb' for my taste.
I watch it, but don't mind if I miss it a week.
I really don't understand what the 'big cliffhanger' was with the 3rd season.
I'll admit I did cry a little though.
It's an interesting series. One you can jump in at anytime and go with the story. So don't worry if you haven't seen the beginning episodes, but they would help.
A DVRer to watch at your leisure.
Just my opinion.
People... you are not alone in watching this, some are yet to see it, don't ruin it.
Spoilers removed.
Great show, great season finale. Will be interesting to see where and how they start season 4.
Great season finale. Very sad episode, and not just for the obvious reasons. Glad to see there's going to be a season 4.
