Watched "Virtual Nightmare". This is a sci-fi made for tv movie that kind of ripped off "The Matrix" movie as well as a few others. The story centers around an advertising exec who is having strange dreams and then starts to see things that others don't see. The story starts out okay but only picks up a little and doesen't develop half as good as "The Matrix" did. There are too many holes in the plot and the ending is not the greatest. I can only give it 5-6 out of 10 stars.

If my glorified finger of shame has poked you in the eye, you're going to need to get over it. My character has nothing to do with the shallowness of this garbage, or the people that worship it. Please don't go to bed with hurt feelings based on my opinion of a television show that sells Doritos to people with the personality of an ink pen.

I read the reviews before watching this, expecting a let down. It really wasn't as bad as they said it is. I thought the acting was pretty good, the story was decent, and my eyes were glued to the screen in anticipation. What more could you really need for entertainment?

I finally tried it out, and I have to say: there is something oddly addicting about this one. It has a strange illusion of pace; it moves along without seeming like it moves along. While the story seems to drag, it's dropping subtle hints about something way more complex than what it's feeding you, keeping your hopes up for answers just around the next corner. I think I stayed away from it for fear of it being another teen-angst driven romance, thinly disguised as something deeper (Twilight, cough-cough). I wouldn't say that I was pleasantly surprised, but it's nice to have some fantasy driven story lines that aren't designed to sell pimple cream, coaxing teenagers into plying their parent's credit card for something totally unnecessary, or trying to impress the social significance of a teen age paradise that only needs smart phones and body spray to thrive.

Loved it! Fun fun fun. Great twist, lotsa blood, and just so you don't walk away wanting more, a side order of extra gore.
