Another good one.

Just as entertaining today as it ever was. This is gold before the Disney Channel's reputation spiraled down the toilet started by High School Musical and other tat.

Do you remember your very first time in a movie theater? Well I do, and it was when my mom and older cousin took me to see Aladdin at the age of 2. It was dark, full of strange people, and I was told to stay absolutely quiet. For most movies that would have been a problem for me, but when that giant screen flickered on, it was like magic combined with popcorn. And I felt no need to jump around and scream my excitement over what was taking place before me. I just wanted to sit back and take it all in.

As my favorite Disney animated movie, Aladdin is top notch in every aspect. The voice actors, with the obvious talents of Robin Williams as the energetic Genie, are superb in conveying their dialogue and singing. The animation is gorgeous with my favorite sequence being the flying carpet escape from the crumbling cave of wonders. And the musical numbers are sweeping and emotional, "I can show you the world. Shining, shimmering, splendor!"

So if you feel like popping in a Disney classic one day, Aladdin's journey from thief to prince has the complete package of old school fun, humor, romance, and conflict with the power hungry Jafar. I'm proud to call it my first trip to the theaters. 9/10

Dude, it's Aladdin. I haven't seen this movie in about 15 years and was amazed at the fact that I didn't even understand half of the jokes when I was a kid. Now that I am older I can really appreciate the performance by Robin Williams. The song writing is also top notch. I will have these songs stuck in my head for a solid week, I know it. There's nothing really to complain about here. The animation was ahead of its time and the film hasn't lost a bit of its sparkle over the years like some of Disney's others ones. Buy it!

A Timeless Classic.

The characters are all loveable, the animation is fluent and impressive, and the story is gripping and entertaining. The flying carpet scene is one of the most romantic ever in a film, but it is the voices and surprisingly great use of Gilbert Godfried that makes the film so wonderfully loveable. Aladdin stands out as one of Disney's best.
