It is ironic that a movie about such an accomplished writer has such terrible writing and transitions. Like most Nazi based stories, the looming WWII threat overshadowed most of the personal story-lines. The acting was fine and the sets/costumes believable, but this movie fell flat. Quick time-jumps and Christopher's seemingly flippant attitude really does this movie in.
