I agree. I think he is doing an awesome job picking apart and looking in-depth at these issue's. In fact I think it is better then his daily show stuff, largely since he is on HBO and not comedy central. More of a no-holds-bar arena one would presume.
[...] [...] Ok here's EXACTLY what's going on. Anytime in Solaria when trying to PM Anyone with a login NAME in FULL CAPs this happens... (you MUST change 1 letter to lower case) or it ill never go OR If you have Subject line in FULL CAPs this happens... (you MUST change 1 letter to lower case) or it ill never go It is how Solaria rolls....heheh http://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/lol.gifhttp://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/titter.gifhttp://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/tongue.gif
http://superpenguin11.weebly.com/uploads/2/2/4/9/2249271/420161_orig.png
[...] I normally only have 2 or 3 FF windows and only 1 will be streaming. So I tried your trick of clearing the cache and only having 1 window open playing the Vod link... same issue with the flashing video not found message.http://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/dizzy.gif [...] So if I understand what your saying in the last to posts using a VPN might work but using a different DNS server Like Google or an open DNS wouldn't? Oh 1 more thing Flicker, I hate that restore last session setting and have it disabled. I disabled it before I added AdBlock plus because I would go to websites I probably shouldn't have gone that made my browsers either crash or not let me close browser windows with alt f4. I seem to remember having to hit the reset button on my PC only to have it reboot and open my browser to the same bad site http://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/funk.gif Now if I need to get back to a recent website I had open I just use my history. That and FF seems to be much more stable than that version and rarely if ever crashes on mehttp://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/smile.gif I really have no idea...I'm trying everything. What A/V do you use? Somewhere, we WILL find an answer. With it being such a widespread problem, I'm surprised torrentfreak or some hacker sites haven't picked up the conversation. It may be totally unrelated to the DDOS...or it could just be a residual effect, like I said. We could actually be the ones helping to ping it to death. [...] Twasn't me...that thread was locked by mods for being redundant. I was attributing that issue to the DDOS that Vodlocker's hosting company had suffered. It started at about the same time. At first, I always got the 'wrong IP' message, and recently I get the flashing 'file not found' message. It's definitely a regional problem, because there are plenty of other users here that have no problems, whatsoever. I think @Lucy18960 may have something there. The ports that allow streaming through vodlocker may be blocked, either by the ISPs, or at the router. I'll be looking into it...my old router was port forwarded, and fully opened up. It very well could be settings in it. What's your region, and ISP? I'm in east-central US, and have Time Warner. Also, I would like to congratulate you two for posting here, and not starting another thread. The other guy got rather pissy when I pointed out the rules, and showed him how to use the search bar. If I find something out about the porting, I'll let everyone know. http://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/lol.gif I saw how the other dude got kinda pissyhttp://www.solarmovie.so/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/titter.gif and yeh I forgot your a linker and not a mod anymore. Any way I'm not using a router, just the same modem that was working with Vod a few months ago. My IP has been changed by Comcast a few times since the Vod issue began, and I'm in the central region namely Minnesota. I wonder if Vod is blocking all IPs from this region? Maybe the DDOS originated from this region? Seems like a pretty broad brush stroke to block an entire region though. Okie, dokie then....I'm feeling slightly retarded. After months of investigation...I updated my Flash player, and Vodlocker is working on my end.
I'm pretty sure I have the most recent flash but I'll make sure... I use Vipre security suite. Well I was wrong, even though FireFox said I had the latest I ran my Vipre updater and it showed that adobe flash, adobe shockwave and adobe air all had new updates... after installing the updates and rebooting Vodlocker still gives me the flashing video not found message:|
The Divide.. Hands down..I like fairly disturbing movies, though... It's definitely unique, because it delves into the psychology of an apocalypse, rather than going the zombie route.. Snowpiercer was also pretty good, but The Divide is epic
