Please note that this movie is from '97... before making comments about this genre is being over done... it's a 15 year old movie people. Older than the avarage age around here I'd reckon.

Donnie Brasco has got to be one of my favorite Johnny Depp films. It even had one of the most admirable actors in it wif Johnny, Al Pacinio. Knowing this is a "based on a true story" film makes it even more awesome. I can't rave how much I love this movie, not just cuz it's the movie where Johnny gets the girl, beats up a few guys, and looks hot throughout it all, it's the way he acted. If you watch this movie carefully, you'll see how much talent there is in Mr. Depp and how he has been underestimated so many times.

I blind bought Donnie Brasco on a friend's recommendation, being that I love mob movies or anything to do with the Mafia in general. Let me tell you, I was surprised with "Donnie Brasco". Now, it's one of my favorite mob movies. This movie isn't action packed, the most interesting aspect is the relationship of two friends, Donnie (Depp) and Lefty (Pacino).

Johnny Depp plays an undercover FBI cop known as Donnie Brasco. Al Pacino plays Lefty, an aging hitman who's mafia career isn't going anywhere, nor his personal life either. He's nearly broke and his son is a crack addict.

If you like mob movies, I'm pretty sure you'll like this one. It's gritty, real, and a true story. Check it out, you won't be dissapointed.

Score: 9/10

I started my DVD list. I stil have more to add. Later.
I just ordered a 4 disc set of mst3k at 330 in the morning. I dont know, I feel sentimental now that the show is off the air.

I saw Donnie Brasco over the weekend and I was impressed. Its definately a good mafia flick. I still havnt seen any of the Godfather trilogy so thats still the goal. Hopefully Thursday night I will see Lost In Translation.

I don't know where all my bloody pictures have gone, they'd better not be partying without me.

SWIVEA: These are the symptoms of young lechery. Does not your prick stand and your pulse beat fast? Don't you desire some unknown bliss to taste?

I have no problem with this movie in general. If you liked Goodfellas or Casino, you'll probably like this. It's not as good as those two, but then Scorsese isn't directing this one either. Nah, I liked the movie except for one thing - Anne Heche's performance grates on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard. She's always going hysterical about the relationship with her husband and how "she just can't take it anymore!!" when she knows full well that he's an undercover FBI agent. When I first saw this in the theatre, I thought that I was gonna have Heche wacked if I saw one of her fits again! Having said all that, Depp and Pacino are fabulous!
