I MUST SAY I LOVE THIS MOVIE ! BY THE WAY IT'S NO WAY LIKE TRANSPORTER! I ENJOYED: ACTION, FUN, A LITTLE BIT OF ROMANCE AND DEFINATLY NO BOREDOM ! TIMOTHY IS JUST GREAT IN IT!

well i think it good, but it isnt clearly as good as it could be, anyway you cant compare it to the games because if you do then the games would suck to!

I caught this movie on a "Free Preview" 3-month promo of some movie networks. You know the deal. You DVR about 100 movies and then you see the same movies popping up, so you go and find some films you haven't watched. Well, "Hitman" was one of the movies in that second category.

I knew my wife wouldn't like it, but I thought it would be nice, pointless, and banal. But I actually found myself enjoying the movie. Timothy Oliphant does a very good job pulling off the title role, expressing a disconnection from his role as hitman and the people he encounters along the way. The plot is, admittedly, thin, although the interaction between the Hitman and the cop following him is refreshing.

Take from it what you will. There's not much substance to the film, but the plot ties together nicely with a satisfying ending.

From the Video Game Genre, this movie is perhaps one of the best.

It was quite stupid at times, and it borrowed some elements from Shooter, which was not so good, as well.Even the action sequences were particularly arousing as i expected them,and the perfomances and dialogue were terrible.and it was overall boring.

What a kick in the head this was too any fan of the Hitman franchise. As a devoted fan of the Hitman computer game series I was nervously anticipating the release of this movie only to be completely disappointed.

I was expecting to see agent 47 infiltrating buildings, assassinating targets and dealing with anyone who gets in his way. In the movie he only seems to follow out one contract. Isn't that what the fans wanted to see??? Not the dribble in this movie.

If you're going to create a movie from a title like Hitman please make it for the fans or don't make it at all.

But to be all fair, what can you expect from money hungry whores.

I have to disagree with the reviews! I loved the game and I feel the film has stayed loyal to the character and theme of the game. Some great action scenes, and blood squirting moments.

okay, the game is this:

agent 47 is a cold blooded hitman bred to kill and he takes disguises and sneaks around and basically, well, kills people.

the movie is this:

exactly the same, except that it is much faster paced. its kinda cheesy, but it delivers the violence (yay for squibs!) and mayhem. it was fun, she gets naked... what else do you want?

I think a lot of people underrated this movie, i find it more interesting than some recent sequel of transforming robots movie. It is an usual action movie of course, but it is enjoyable.

Just violence, and not even good violence.

I don't understand how a hard ass assassin would make idle threats, fall for a girl, and poison her when she tries to get on him. I also can't see how this secret organization keeps it's identity hidden when the soldiers all look the same and have bar codes on their heads.
Poorly constructed main story, choppy, awkward dialog, bad love story, just overall bad. The one saving grace I can say personally is I was able to sit through the whole thing, but I was bored and I like action flicks. Wouldn't watch it again except to see the girl, who did a good job, I thought. The only one who had some smooth dialog.
