Looks and feels like it was ripped from a studio copy yet unreleased, A daunting movie filled with excellent performances from a very astute and young cast, excluding the lunatic reverent hook-hank killer. R>I>P> SM

This is a great movie. It has a great young cast and a handful of very good scares. It kept me nervous, made me scream, and made me jump. That's what I call a scary movie.

hey i dont know why this film got a crap rating when scream did so well?

i really liked this film.. it's got all the spook factors needed.. the actors are good.. i'm a big sarah michelle gellar fan.. and ryan philippe is good in it too. It's quite a 'traditional' spook plot with the 'hook' man, but it works well, and the story is quite interesting. For what it's trying to do... i think it succeeds well. It's not trying to be an oscar winning thought provoking film.. it's just a good spookfest of a film. i've watched it so many times i've lost count. yay, it's on channel 4 right now.. think i'm gonna go watch it again....

Well, what a day, I guess where I be is where I'm at. I'm rating Jennifer Love Hewitt Movies and trying to give her a better beat than she's gotten here at Rotten Tomatoes.

Anyway, I totally dig Jeniffer Love Hewitt and anybody is free to share in the digging.

But no haters allowed. You will be prosecuted.

Edit: 4/26/2006. I'm editing this to rate Jackie Chan in place of Heartbreakers since I'm posting a journal entry about the movie today.

This was much better than the book. Heck, the book wasn't even scary or "suspenseful". I liked the idea of the hook and such. Unfortunately, there are some bad parts about this movie. I don't understand why they killed Sarah Michelle Gellar. I mean, in the book, no one dies. So why kill one of the more interesting characters? It had a very good ending though but why was Julie dumb enough to get on that boat? Durrr.

anyway, 7/10

this movie was so cool! freddy prince jr. and ryan phillepe did really well at acting and theyre really good looking.(lame way to put it) it was scary at times and has a good plot. it has lotsa cussing and some umm other interesting things. its a good movie with some great actign and scary parts and freaky things too. the ending is scary then it just cuts to this happy music that made me laugh. well this was a very good horro flick and if you wanna be freaked out at parts watch it. and if you're a guy it was sarah michelle geller in it and jennifer love hewitt takes her shirt part way off joey wanted me to add. and ryan phillepe has a locker scene thts pretty coolieo. lol so yea watch it
