Slow but good. Harrelson's come along way from cheers. Bale and Affleck gave great performances. Whittaker and Defoe also noteworthy. Seemed like real life vs. what main stream Hollywood would dish out.
What a crazy ending! I hope Peggy isn't dead cuz although she kinda gets on my nerves sometimes i really like the actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley. Anyway, awkward moment there when Juliet went to Avery's door and Scarlet was with him. But she made a good cover up...sort of. Avery is so sweet. I just really don't want him back with Juliet. Scarlet's always the better choice.
i liked this movie, didnt laugh all that much, but afew times. i thought levit did good with the story, i wanted to know what would happen.i actully thought it shoulda been alittle longer.it felt like it didnt get into the real story, real problems till later, and then then had to rush it alittle.its for sure different, and i like that, its a serious take on something funny but its not a comedy.
This is a story of how far will human emotional tether stretch before it snaps.
The disaster is internal.
Space and drifting are secondary.
I'll go on a limb here... if you guys fancy explosions and aliens, this might possibly not be 'it'.
