LoL don't guess Ima be able to slide anything past you, That's another big reason why I like this site, I'm sure most people on here has had similar experiences when talking about our passion to movies just with the people we come across in our daily lives. I'm sure many people can relate to this, In my daily life I so rarely meet anyone with a passion for movies and whatnot as I have. I've been hoping that someone can take D.C. and create more journeys for use to watch such as they have done with the Marvel universe. A Justice League movie done as well as Avengers would be greatness, but for some reason It seems Dc movies have such a hard time meeting fans expectations, and I don't blame the fans for this lol. @Onable Army of Darkness now there's a movie I loved as a kid, didn't scare the bejesus outta me like Evil Dead 1 & 2 did, dang creepy hand lol. But I've seen there might be an AOD 2, I was completely surprised to see Raimi doing such films as Spiderman, I also enjoyed the Bruce Campbell cameo's in the spiderman films.
The Purge (2013)

1 hour agoWatched "The Purge". This movie has it's good points and bad points. The concept of "Purging" once a year to get rid of all the bad feelings you have is interesting. However, committing murder or anything else you want to do seems to extreme. The movie does show the good and bad sides of everyone. The story and acting is okay and the action along with a few twists and surprises make the movie okay to watch. I did like the ending twists and surprises. I'm waiting for a good dvd version to watch again someday. I would give it a 7 out of 10 stars.

It's definitely not a film for people that need the standard framework of set-up/experience/closure. I enjoyed it, I enjoy the whole mythos. This was Scott's attempt to expand this universe, whether or not he will be at the helm of any of the movies to follow. On the BluRay, there is a memorandum that connects this to Blade Runner, by using notes comparing the ideology behind the creation of different androids. I also enjoyed the AVP movies, because what most non-fans do not realize, they successfully connected two entirely separate franchises, while explaining a little more about the appearance and geneology of the xenoporphs (as expanded in this movie). Scott was right in denying that this was an Alien prequel; it is in the same universe as the Aliens, but is the prelude to a much greater story, and a much larger universe with will implicate all of the Alien and Predator movies (and Blade Runner) in hiding secrets from us that we should have already known by watching the movies.

2 hours ago(Adult Swim) ~ Never forget? Terrorism hasn't, and neither will the NTSF:SD:SUV. In a world where threatening danger looms large and Homeland Security won't secure itself, San Diego's citizens can't afford not to trust in the NTSF...
The Thing (2011)
by
polesauce,
2 hours agomissmovie1 - this isn't a remake, it's a prequel (A story or movie containing events that precede those of an existing work.) If you notice the ending of this film and the beginning of the film with Kurt Russel, right after, you will see how this one leads to the scientist crew of 1982's.
8.8/10
