Terrible film. I'm a fan of Forrest Whitaker ("The Crying Game", nuff said) and generally respect his choices as an artist, but this offering has zero depth. It is at best a willfully ignorant view through rose coloured glasses,or at worst...pursuing an agenda of deliberate misrepresentation through omission and obfuscation.
Links are great quality.
This is one of if not thee most beautiful and moving movies i have ever seen. Five men together sparked an idea, inspired a movement, and started a revolution for freedom and equality. Nothing speaks more true to the line "people should not be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of its people." Truly an inspiring movie and one that i think carries a strong message to be heard and held in our minds with the plights of the world today. Violence can only be met with violence for so long, at some point they must decide to meet with peace.
