hands down one of the best vampire film's i've ever seeing. i didn't find the movie difficult to follow but i i'm confused as to how they turn into vampires. never the less i give it 9/10. had i seeing this earlier this year i would have put it on my list of top 3 movies of 2013
Rob Schmidt is an American film director and writer. His film credits include Wrong Turn and Crime and Punishment in Suburbia. He also created a pilot called American Town for Twentieth Century Fox. He directed this Masters of Horror episode called 'Right to Die'. Besides the above mentioned, there is his thriller 'The Alphabet Killer'.
'Valerie on the Stairs' is another one directed by Mick Garris, previous one was 'Chocolate' on Masters of Horror. Rob Hanisey (Tyron Leitso) is an unsuccessful writer who is accepted to the Highberger House. In the House, Rob experiences strange encounters with a beautiful girl. This is a short story by Clive Barker. Just gotta love that Clive Barker. Anyway, one of my favorite actors in this short film is Christopher Lloyd.
my second viewing of this.. sam rockwell just isn't in bad flicks.. one thing bothers me, and probably any other shooter/hunter, with the writing.. you NEVER fire without identifying the target and what is behind it and (okay, two things) if the girl was in the area, the deer wouldn't have been there.. aside from this - really good film.
@jet2643 After watching for the past month I am hooked on this show. Love the back and forth banter, as well as the serious points. The actors are great, and I love the CGI effects. Thanks for the heads up on this series :)
As much as I am sure this film is superb, I just can't bring myself to watching it at this time. I knew Diana personally and was also one of the archivists on the exhibition of her heirlooms during it's premiere visit to the U.S.
I do recommend checking this one out and learning something about this truly remarkable and genuinely kind-hearted human being.
Her story is at the same time inspiring and rather sad...
There are several threads on Forum paying respect to Paul Walker, hardly used - because many people continue to ignore requests to keep comment section clean from 'rip' comments and use it to discuss the film and related subjects. Then when you get reminded, you bomb mod requests with red arrows.
