What I mean to ask is, should each version be based on a 1-10 scale for that version only. An example would be:
A cam rated a 1 is a terrible cam. A cam rated a 10 is the best cam you've ever seen. However, even though the cam is rated a 10, when compared to an HD it would be nowhere near a 10.
Kinda like boxing. The fighters on the undercard are probably decent and put on a good show for their class and skill level, but they are nowhere near the quality of the main event. Although an undercard fight can still be rated a 10, the best undercard fight ever seen, it is still not near the quality of the Main Event.
So when we see a cam rated 10, we'll know it's great, relative to other cams, but it is definitely no HD version and should only be compared to other cams.

Ever watched Blood Diamond? or The Departed? Leo is a great character actor imo, I didn't think id be a fan after the titanic craze, but he grew on me and he rarely disappoints as far as his acting goes.
