I hope it keeps up and gets a second season. Just look at SoA. It started to get popular at the ending of the second season. Networks need more patience instead of cancelling after one season if some ratings are low.
I LOVE this movie! I remember watching this for the first time when I was a teen, I immediately fell in love w/ Marky Mark(Mark Wahlberg). He's a great actor and I'm glad to see him back on the big screen recently after years of not seeing him in any movies.
Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town is a 1970 stop motion television special, made by Rankin-Bass. The film stars actor Fred Astaire as S.D. Kluger, the narrator, and Mickey Rooney as Kris Kringle/Santa Claus. The film tells the story of how Santa Claus and several Claus-related Christmas traditions came to be. It is based on the hit Christmas song of the same name, which was introduced on radio by Eddie Cantor in 1934, and the story of Saint Nicholas.
The special was created using stop motion animation called 'Animagic', in which all the characters are made out of wood and plastic and animated via stop-motion photography. The special was originally telecast by ABC and continues to air every year on sibling channel ABC Family, though both channels have at times edited the special to make room for commercials (ABC has cut two key songs, as well as two other songs in half; ABC Family has cut several scenes that might be traumatizing to younger viewers, including the scene where the Burgermeister Meisterburger character torches the seized toys in front of the children of Sombertown).
This is quite a fantastic show. The acting has been superb thus far. Some of my favorites appear in it like Megan Follows, Torrance Coombs, and Anna Popplewell. Every episode leaves me dying to watch the next and the plots are well thought out. The characters are well rounded and the costumes are beautiful. I remember when I watched the Tudors and thought they had great costumes but these are 10 times more stunning. That's France for you I guess :P
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys is a computer-animated feature that was originally released to home video on October 30, 2001, and has had subsequent broadcasts on ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas. It is a sequel to the Rankin/Bass Christmas special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The vocal cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis and Richard Dreyfuss.
OK I got super excited when they brought a British guy on and I thought he was there to stay. But then I got a double disappointment. Not only was he NOT British but he left town. Also, I like Lemmon with her present guy. he's super sweet and not too bad looking either. As for AnnaBeth and Mayor Hayes, that's two enthusiastic thumbs up. Zoe and Wade I've loved since they got together but there's something about them that I'm slowly growing disenchanted with.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a Christmas television special produced in stop motion animation by Rankin/Bass. It first aired Sunday, December 6, 1964, on the NBC television network in the United States, and was sponsored by General Electric (who then acquired NBC after the 1986 acquisition of RCA) under the umbrella title of The General Electric Fantasy Hour. The special was based on the Johnny Marks song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" which was itself based on the 1939 poem Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer written by Marks' brother-in-law, Robert L. May. Since 1972, the special has aired on CBS affiliate television stations, with the network unveiling a high-definition, digitally remastered version of the program in 2005. As with A Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph no longer airs just once annually, but several times during the Christmas and holiday season and on several cable channels (including ABC Family). It has been telecast every year since 1964, making it the longest running Christmas TV special in history, and one of only four 1960s Christmas specials still being telecast, the others being A Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Frosty the Snowman.
I have to say, I kinda like the idea of Caleb being with someone else. I don't know if that's where they're planning on going with this new character but I think they'd be cute together. Yeah, Hanna and Caleb were a good couple but they've been together for so long and they were never one of my fave couples. Maybe Hanna should change it up a bit. And I also really want Aria and Ezra back together. I know he's supposed to be A but I don't think he really is. Maybe he's kinda like Toby was for a bit.
