I finally tried it out, and I have to say: there is something oddly addicting about this one. It has a strange illusion of pace; it moves along without seeming like it moves along. While the story seems to drag, it's dropping subtle hints about something way more complex than what it's feeding you, keeping your hopes up for answers just around the next corner. I think I stayed away from it for fear of it being another teen-angst driven romance, thinly disguised as something deeper (Twilight, cough-cough). I wouldn't say that I was pleasantly surprised, but it's nice to have some fantasy driven story lines that aren't designed to sell pimple cream, coaxing teenagers into plying their parent's credit card for something totally unnecessary, or trying to impress the social significance of a teen age paradise that only needs smart phones and body spray to thrive.

@curiousitykittie Seems to me like a lame way to get a pro show binned. You won't air my favourite comedy waaargh, kill that amazing violent show I've never watched then. That people actually followed him like lemmings is disturbing.

But when inexplicable things begin to happen, everyone’s beliefs are tested.
