It's hard to make a masterpiece in 2 hours or less. It takes some balls, a la Peter Jackson and the Lord of the rings movies. I was happy to see this a nearly 2 1/2 hours, and I'm sure there's a lot of footage on the cutting room floor.
A good Lex story would be good for the 2nd round, especially if he had gained control of some super villain. It would be able to have loads of super-powered action, and still have ole Lex 'behind the scenes' acting as a supreme puppet master, manipulating everyone in some evil plan to gain control over the Alaska oil fields. I'm sure comics/animation fans would be ready for some interstellar pugilism, but the Superman movies have only drawn crowds and general admiration by stretching it across the board.
People tout about the success of the Avengers, but even that was built on the hard core, quasi-realistic Iron Man.
LEX LUTHOR, 2015! (I think if they bring it all, maybe Lobo as an antagonist could win some hearts, and spur an all out JLA extravaganza)

exactly! i just wish that concept actually hit the streets to see actual POV. That town is just like any other and there really wasn't any surprise. thumbs up guys, what would you put into it?

Can't wait to see it! I've enjoyed everything that Sofia Coppola has made (Marie Antoinette is one of my faves) she always does such an amazing job with the settings, costuming, and music. I hope this lives up to her past films!

This movie will only wasting your time. I fell asleep soon after this movie started. Maybe the best part only at the end of the movie.
