The only thing I thought was a copout was that "this is 40" had the same fight scene as this movie with the same chick basically a copy scene but different in a very small way! Kinda disappointed about the plot but it was overall great! I don't care about anything except it making me laugh and it succeeded!

After Earth, originally known as 1000 A.E., is an upcoming science fiction action film co-written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It stars real-life father and son Will and Jaden Smith as Cypher and Kitai Raige, with the elder also acting as producer and co-writer, and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. My link got approved being uploaded as being jap/span sub because there is no English version yet. Just like the 1:14 sec trailer that is uploaded.

I seriously doubt that anything is going to lead into the Guardians movie, unless the upcoming Thor has some sort of cameo, but the Guardians will definitely lead into the Avengers 2 (it is the last of the Phase 2 movies to be released before hand). While this movie did disappoint fans of books somewhat, it did manage to bring in the 2nd gen Iron Man. There's some pretty exciting stuff coming up, and rumor has it, that all those treasures in Odin's vault won't even be used until after Phase 2.
