Del Torro's masterpiece. Visually stunning fable set during Mussolini's reign, and the rebellion against it. Guillermo put his life into this movie, literally, it hospitalized him. The ending has to be one of the greatest, leaving you wondering if the entire thing was fantasy or reality. I can not overstate the impression that this movie will make. It's a shame that he was too busy to direct the new Hobbit films, because his level of vision and creativity is next to none right now.

This is a great movie, one of Del Tormo's finest.
There is no English version to this film, and don't post anything remotely close to a spoiler @joeherif. Comment removed.

This movie was awesome! The only things which would have made it better were seeing more of the underworld and a little more explanation about the tasks. Also, the first putlocker link has a bit of a problem. It freezes sometimes, but just reload the webpage and go back to where you were and it should play, at least it did for me.

I'm not much into non-English speaking movies because of the subtitles. I found it upsetting and graphic, much like reading a Grimms' fairy tale. It does not have what I would call a "Happy Ending". Poor Ophiela!! However, this film is worth the watch and you may walk away with a new apprieciation for a folk tale.
