Stream it now ParaNorman Reset Status Want to Watch Already Watched Don't Want to Watch

I'm not familiar with the work of Laika Studios but if this is par for the course, I'm definitely checking out their other work. ParaNorman isn't just your typical kid-friendly spookfest, it's also an unexpectedly heartwarming exploration of these characters. Norman can see ghosts and is learning how he can use that gift, people consider him a freak because of this gift, and soon a supernatural crisis will plague the town and place Norman in a situation where he can both use that gift and show the skeptical town that people with odd gifts like the ability to see spirits have their place too. I agree with the overall message and really dug the animation style.

The visuals in this movie are just amazing. Following Coraline, Laika's stop motion animation is the best stop motion I've ever seen. The characters are well developed and enjoyable, good story, all around fantastic movie in my opinion.

Age wise great movie for the kids.

Good story. The themes were too liberal but that is to be expected in our society.

Lovely movie.
Some great funny parts, and a bit scary at times.

Pretty good animated film that you can safely watch with your kids. A young boy saves his town from zombies. Solid 8 out of 10.

I didn't really want to watch this because Coraline was good but felt empty towards the end. ParaNormal is better storywise. And the twist here and there are refreshing. I lol'd at the zombies curse.
