There are no words to adequate to describe the genius behind Steven Spielberg's film, possibly one of the best ever made. It's not just that this story HAD to be told, nor is it merely because it demonstrates one of the most intrinsic internal hopes of every human being- the ability to transform into something better than you once were...it is the way in which Spielberg transports you to 1939. He shot the film like a documentary, and decided not to use storyboards, giving the film a lifelike quality like no other.
From the very first frame, you will be sucked into this world that must be the thing of dreams- it cannot be real. But it is, and it is only in telling and re-telling the story that we can hope it never materializes again. Itzhak Perlman's violin will haunt you for days. You may have less road rage, take time to hug your kids more, and smile at strangers just for the heck of it. For at the end of this film, and at the end of everything really, we find that every life, even the smallest of lives, matters.

This is an important movie and I'm grateful Spielberg made it. I'm concerned that an increasing number of people don't seem to even know basic historical facts about WWII and that they treat what should be THE most important lesson in the history of mankind without any respect. This movie is genius level, it accomplishes the impossible with a very difficult subject matter.

Schindler's List is a great movie, flat out, hands down. The events that unfold in this 3 hour extravaganza will leave you crying, rejoicing, questioning, and sometimes downright speechless.

The movie develops an excellent story as Oscar Schindler employs Itzhak Stern in another attempt to make it rich, but it quickly turns into a struggle to save as many Polish Jews from the Holocaust as possible. I won't give away any more of it then that.

As for the movie, it has a great setting and spot-on acting. The people's emotions will be impressed upon your emotions, and it is almost as if you begin to know Oscar himself. The few areas that I would find lacking would be the soundtrack, and some of the visuals were not the best. Get past that, and you will find yourself viewing a near perfect movie.

I've tried to find a flaw that would reduce my rating of this film, but alas I cannot. The acting is perfection the story, moving and the overall "watchability" of the film... Well let's just say it's easy to sit through the three hours.
