A VERY SLICK, DARK FILM WITH AN ALL-STAR CAST THAT WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY'S WORTH.

Visually Amazing and creatively unique that is about all this film delivers with no room for any of those involved to really branch out and give a good preformances due to the limited time on screen.

All sub-stories are centered around revenge, and I may be missing something, which gets a little boring after an hour. The violence is intense but I think this film needed a little more than just violence to get a better rating; unfortunately it does not deliver.

Maybe I should have given it a better rating for just its visual excellence but I would rather a great story over awesome special effects and both combined makes a great movie.

I wouldn't go out of my way to see this film again.

Another bloody mess from Robert Rodriguez. And no, it's not an accent. It really is a bloody mess. Artistically done in the black and white style of Frank Miller's comic books (that's right: it used to be a comic book. I can hardly believe it either). A great flick that seems like a prequel to Shoot 'em Up. I don't know of any better way to tell a story about a dark city than with this cast of excellent and famous characters; the framed cop fighting to protect a girl (Bruce Willis), a chivalrous giant hell-bent on revenge (Mickey Rourke), & a murderer with a new face trying to keep the peace (Clive Owen). The stories tie in loosely enough, and are well done, even if each scene blunders into the next seemingly by accident. Most of the fun is lost on those who have never read the comics, simply because they have no idea the significance of the characters. Two of the stories tie in with the corrupt Roark family and it's twisted dealings running the city. The third story involves the state of the city itself, and the truce between the cops and O-town. It's a fun blood-fest for a night with no moral limits, and a good hard look at vigilante heroes with no limits whatsoever. Sin City blows away 7 sick bastards out of 10.

What a great movie! There are several different storylines that make up the movie and in my opinion they are all very interesting. I love the look of the movie... great acting... great characters. All that being said, this is a movie that you'll either love or hate.

WHAT DOES ONE SAY, BRILLIANT!

One of the most stunning movies ever made.

The directors really seemed to grasp the concept of turning the movie into a comic book, and they did it extremely well. There aren't many noir films being made anymore, but this one takes the cake from Public Enemies any day.

The effects were great, and gave a new take on a genre that was practically forgotten. You could pinpoint the Tarantino touch in the film with the gore and over-the-top violence. This movie is unlike no other and is really a one-of a kind movie. The story all falls together which Trick 'r Treat would use three years later.

Apparently, some of Frank Millers newer films have been a bit stale. But this one stays perfect.

I really recommend it to any action and crime fan, it is truly one of the best films of all time, and there are no other movies like it.
