The Caveman's Valentine was on of the very few movies which wasn't that great I expected. It wasn't bad either, but somehow... well
Evita was just a "normal" musical film. If you want to watch something spectacular (!) go see Moulin Rouge.

Thriller

Although the majority of the movie was some what confusing (probably because I constantly nodded off), the ending was predictable. My rating would have been even lower if Samuel L Jackson didn't perform great. :rotten:

I haven't yet seen this...but, I'm feeling the hype (good hype) and I think this one is a winner....

This movie made me think - how many of homeless in my large urban city probably have hidden tallents too that are lost to rest of us and hidden under the mental illness? One can feel pain of his daughter having "lost" her father and pain of the ex-wife who had a difficult time when living with him. Samuel L. Jackson doe credible acting job as usual and has had consistent acting career. Soundtrack is fabulous. Choreography of his "demons" is worth noticing.

Pretentious and not involving. The cast tries, and they do generally well, but the story is unappealing and aloof. Good music, well photographed, but that's the best part of the film.
