I love this movie! Rooney Mara definitely should have won academy award for best actress. I really hope David Fincher will make the sequel - the ending is incredibly unsatisfying. My favourite scene is when the killer delivers a monologue about trusting instincts.
Although I really wish people would stop complaining about this movie being a remake and the other trilogy won't get attention. In fact watching it has made me more intereted in checking out the swedish version.

wow... what an amazing film.. suspenseful,intriguing,sad, extremely graphic, and yet it had a sort of beauty to it.... 10/10 a must watch film... those who watch will definitely enjoy.

I tend to agree with Fantastico, this movie was decent, but the original three are far better. Rather curious if there are plans to remake the other two, but I think Noomi will still own it. Plus she's hotter....

this was almost made the exact same way as the original.. I prefer the original, but this was really good as well. Roony Mara did a good job but this role was owned by Noomi Rapace.

ive to disagree with shnukums. for me i didnt even realize i had spent 2-3 hours watching the movie when i was at the end. amazing scenes, story everything, one my top favorite and one most amazing thriller and fast past scenes like the END
