I wanted to like it but I just wasn't feeling the story.
Although I like the second half of the film over the predictable beginning part. The second and third act surprised me quite often.
It was a well made straight to video movie. And there's nothing wrong with straight to video movies as I'm a fan of several of them.
Ironically I just can't think of any at this moment.
The horror and action genre is filled to the brim with tons of these types of films. I was definitely feeling the fan horror references to Argento and Fulchi . They are both Italian directors of horror films. I have yet to see any one of their films in their entirety. And I really enjoyed
the overall campy banter amongst the cast of character's. Although I knew in the back of my mind how this story was going to end. But like I mentioned before I was surprised at times by the direction that certain scenes were heading. Kodo points for the cameo of the director's wife in several scenes. And even you guessed folks the directors adorable daughter is also in this film. The problem with the film is that the story is average and that the ghosts quite frankly aren't scary. I do like the makeup and blood effects. And I much appreciated the death scenes as they were actually pretty cool. ;']

But alas went didn't stay friends
