Yes I know, ANOTHER Leo film. Trust me, it was just a coincidence. I love this film. Pirates of the Caribbean topped it but take away Depp and it is at the same level as this film. I Love Malkovich, I think he's amazing, if youve not seen his version of Biff in Death of a Salesman, hunt it down and watch it now! I liked Leo in this, espeacially in the scene pictured above, the hate he portrays using only his eyes was brilliant. The Musketeers books are great and this film does a very good job in telling that part of their story.

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that I saw and was very pleasantly surprised by Sweet Home Alabama. The camera work, though mechanical at times, was excellent, and the lighting really brought nice animation to the characters. And who'dathunk I'd ever like a Reese Witherspoon movie? She's still gotta work on her transitions, though... maybe she'd punch me if she read this and say, "Dammit, I AM working on my transitions!!" Or maybe she'd tell me how little I actually know about acting.
I went t-shirt shopping with my mom and got some really cool stuff including a most excellent M*A*S*H shirt. Then comes the bad news...

Weigh the Anchor, Man! This boat's going nowhere...

We were going to the movies... My mom and I were taking my sister and her friends to see King Arthur (which was awesome), but it turned out the youngest of the group didn't want to see it. We looked at the other selections, and since The Clearing didn't have any according showtimes for alternate viewing by my mom and I, we all bought (yes, paid money for) tickets to Anchorman. Holy crap. Anchorman has got to be one of the absolute worst movies I've ever seen. I can't believe I went to that astonishingly lame spectacle. The film practically sat limp on the screen, allowing a talented cast to go to waste. The production values were waaay off, too. The best part was a cameo from Danny Trejo, who is going to be in Devil's Rejects, by the way! The worst part by far was an animated sequence that actually made me sick. This thing really should have been a SNL sketch - it seems to have been written by two fools who got drunk one night and watched the news. Its sad that a film like King Arthur is going to be passed off next to the spider and the anchor simply because it "doesn't follow the legend" - That's the whole point!!! Its supposed to be the true story behind the legend!! Oh well :-P That was my outburst of the season.

Driving back to Orlando was not bad at all. I improvised the trip, and made it here without any problems. I always have problems when I use maps or directions. I drove by a few of the south Floridian forest fires, it seems they're becoming more controlled. It was tough to leave the family again, but I had a spectacular week with them.
