:) I love this movie. I've only seen one Secret Garden movie, but this movie enchanted me. I think I was about 11 when I saw this. I loved it! It's a very nicely done movie. I especially love the background music and the sights. In some parts I felt goosebumps cuz everything was so perfect. The music, the actions, the scenery. It was just enchanting to watch. I haven't read the Secret Garden book, but I love the movie!!!! Perfect "Secret Garden" movie to me.:)

Exquisitely produced, skillfully made but it has an unmistakable and odd coldness about it. The actors just fail to draw you into the story. It was filmed better in 1949. It's not a bad film, it just doesn't quite capture the true essence of the story.

And I thought Finding Neverland was boring! My gosh, The Secret Garden is like The Remains of the day for children even though that is quite unfair to Remains.

I watched this with my family (wife and 9, 8 year old kids) and can't believe we all made it through. It is going to take me a few weeks to gain my children's trust again :)

Plodding pace, hard-to-understand accents and sparse storyline make this one to avoid.

Put me to sleep.

A beautiful adaptation of the classic book.

The cast works together amazingly, and writings excellent, and it's one of those feel good movies that isnt heavy on sap.:fresh:
